I've been a humanist for

as long as I can remember.

 

Humanists treat others with respect and without prejudice, and it is a privilege to be chosen by like-minded people to conduct their ceremonies. If you are looking for a serious, formal ceremony then I'm probably not the guy for you.

 

Recently I have conducted marriage ceremonies around the country, including Angus, Fife, East Lothian, Midlothian, Perthshire, Stirlingshire, West Dunbartonshire, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway, as well as the isle of Arran and on an island in the middle of Loch Lomond! Basically, I go wherever people want me to marry them.

I enjoy delivering ceremonies which are joyous, and while they certainly do contain formal elements, I do believe that the inclusion of some fun and references to significant moments in your life including humour will help to create a personal ceremony which is meaningful to you and also memorable to your families and friends.

 

I've enjoyed a career in marketing well known brands in the UK - a role which involved a lot of script writing and public speaking; skills I now use in my role as a celebrant.

I am available for weddings, civil partnerships, renewals of vows, and naming ceremonies.
